Snowlands Network’s Events
Snowlands Network hosts a variety of events throughout the year ranging from on-the-snow ski and snowshoe tours to films festivals to trail marking and maintenance trips. In the past we have shown films in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nevada City, Truckee, South Lake Tahoe, Reno and elsewhere. Ski and snowshoe tours and marking/maintenance trips have covered much of the Central Sierra Nevada.

Snowlands Network to Complete Orion Trail
Loon Lake/Orion Trail - October 2-3
It’s a tradition for Snowlands Network volunteers to mark or maintain a ski and snowshoe trail each fall. This year Snowlands will complete the marking of the new Orion Trail near Loon Lake off Highway 50. We hope that you will join Snowlands and cosponsor El Dorado Nordic Ski Patrol for one or more fun-filled days enjoying the Sierra after the crowds have left.
